Corrections Policy

Last updated: August 11, 2026

AllThingsK8282 welcomes specific, evidence-based correction reports. Practical information about South Korea can change, and readers should be able to see how factual errors, unclear wording, and outdated guidance are handled.

What You Can Report

Please contact us if you find:

  • a factual error or misleading statement;
  • an outdated price, schedule, rule, eligibility condition, or service detail;
  • a broken or incorrect official link;
  • a translation or wording choice that changes the meaning of a source;
  • a duplicated page, incorrect redirect, or technical issue that affects access to the right article;
  • a missing disclosure, attribution concern, or unsupported claim.

How to Submit a Correction

Email ay3201@gmail.com with the subject line “Correction.” Please include:

  1. the article title and URL;
  2. the sentence, section, or link you believe needs review;
  3. a short explanation of the concern;
  4. a current official or otherwise reliable source, when available.

You do not need to provide more personal information than is necessary to explain the issue.

How Reports Are Reviewed

We compare the report with the article, its existing sources, and the authority responsible for the information. For changing rules or services, we check whether the difference reflects a genuine update, a regional exception, a reader-specific circumstance, or an error in the article.

A report is not accepted or rejected solely because it agrees or disagrees with the article. The available evidence, relevance, and effect on the reader determine the response.

Types of Changes

Minor Edit

Spelling, grammar, formatting, broken layout, and wording changes that do not alter the meaning may be corrected without a public correction note.

Clarification

If the original statement was technically accurate but could reasonably mislead a reader, we may rewrite it, add context, explain an exception, or improve the source link.

Factual Correction

If a material claim was wrong when published, we correct the article and may add a visible note describing what changed. The note should be proportionate to the importance of the error.

Current-Information Update

If the article was accurate but a rule, price, schedule, service, or official page later changed, we update the affected section when practical. This is normally treated as an update rather than an original reporting error.

Correction Notes and Dates

A material correction note may identify the date, the earlier problem, and the corrected information. An updated or “Last verified” date is changed only when the relevant information has actually been reviewed.

We do not change a date simply to make an old article look new.

Duplicate and Redirect Corrections

When two pages answer substantially the same search question, we may keep one representative article and return the duplicate to Draft or redirect its old address. We do not delete, redirect, or hide a published page solely to satisfy an automated recommendation. The effect on readers and existing links is reviewed first.

Response and Follow-Up

Correction reports are reviewed as soon as practical, but we do not promise a fixed response time. Complex questions may require confirmation from a Korean authority, operator, institution, or professional.

We may reply to request clarification or supporting evidence. Contact details submitted with a correction report are handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
